She had just had a baby when I started my cancer treatments and the day she had her, I was too sick from the chemo to go to the hospital like I normally would’ve. But during my treatment, she did call and check on me, but she never came over or wanted to see me. I told her I really wanted to see the baby and invited her over a few times when I was getting treatment, and a few times I asked what she was up to because I was feeling up to stopping by for a visit. Sometimes she would already have plans, sometimes she wouldn’t call me back for a week.

Well finally after my treatments were done, she asked me how long it would take for the radiation to leave my body. I told her that it never was “in my body”, radiation is not contagious. I think she was thinking back to her grandpa who had radioactive seeds implanted for his prostate cancer and he couldn’t be around kids or certain people. Anyways, I didn’t have that, but she never bothered to ask me.

Anyways, I am a little upset that she didn’t just ask me about the radiation and that she avoided me during my cancer treatments, during a time that I would’ve really appreciated a little more support from her. Especially since she has been my “best friend” for over 10 years now. But I am not that upset about it. But my family, other friends and boyfriend think its really terrible and don’t think I should talk to her anymore. I was venting to them about the fact that I was a little upset with her for avoiding me through this, but she admitted it to me and she felt bad about it. I don’t feel like this should end a 10 year friendship. She was sincerely fearing for the safety of her baby.

Would you continue a friendship with someone who did this? Or do you think I’m being stupid for staying friends with her? Because no matter what answers I get, I will still consider her a very good friend.

Just wondering if my friends and fam are blowing this out of proportion or if I am being too nice. Idk. Thanks.

I face sexual stimulations which they usually dont end to a complete sexual activity & ejaculation.so my prostate gland has been stimulied and caused frequent urinating.Which kind of treatment will be useful?sithz bath?bed rest?any drugs?herbal drugs?..

In a few weeks, I’m going to start chemo for my bone/testicular tumor that was removed from my skull on April 14. What’s the best kind of food one should be eating when going though chemo? Are there any specific kinds of food that help people our a lot when they go though chemo for cancer?Food thant proide lots of engergy will be hepful as I seem to be always be drained of engergy and I’m always tired from my operation on my skull and my testixular cancer operation in July 2006. I also had radiotion treatment for my testicular cancer in September-October 2006. Which in turn help drain me of engergy and made me always tired.. I did however make a blog to help other cancer survivors in July of 2007.

I am diagnosed Prostate Cancer by high PSA.PSA is 5 and I am 58 years old. I am worried a lot.
How to find the best doctor who will give me best possible cure will know all experimental options available?
I called University Hospital and they gave me appointment on 27th sept,07 which is one month later and this is not right. I feel I should have biopsy as soon as possible and if tumor is still localized ,then it should be removed as soon as possible.
There are so many doctors and so many treatments. Every one is saying that he is the best and have best results. I am confused and my life and future is at stake. Can somebody guide me how to pick the best doctor and best procedure and most importantly what you will do if you are in my place?
Also what kind of diet ,exercises and non medical measures will help. I have a wife and five kids and they all are worrying equally. Sorry for trouble and thanks for the possible help.
